The PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT Systems Cybersecurity is delighted to announce our next online PETRAS Securing the Future: Knowledge Exchange and Networking event on 25 November 10.30am-3.00pm.

PETRAS convenes social and technical academic experts with the public and private sectors to consider issues of Privacy, Ethics, Trust, Reliability, Acceptability and Security as they apply to IoT systems and networks.

Join us for an interactive and engaging event that will provide you with an opportunity to:

  • Make connections across our network of 100+ researchers, industry technologists, business leaders, policy makers and government officials.
  • Gain insights into bleeding-edge and state-of-the-art research from PETRAS and UKRI’s Securing Digital Technology at the Periphery (SDTaP) Programme.
  • Hear from industry and government on what they consider to be the biggest challenges facing them now and in the future.
  • Have creative discussions to generate ideas for public engagement activities, responses to research grants, and collaboration opportunities.

Our research ultimately aims to benefit society and support the UK economy, by informing local and central government policies and creating technical and methodological solutions that enable businesses to adopt IoT systems and networks, safely and securely.
