The PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT System Cybersecurity presents a briefing on How to Talk about Cybersecurity of Emerging Technologies.

The report is aimed at anyone interested in cybersecurity in the context of emerging technologies and board level executives in the energy sector: operators of essential services, start-ups, digital services providers, licenced entities, generators, etc and other companies offering energy- related services and products.

PETRAS is inviting key stakeholders from government and industry to attend an online roundtable event on Tuesday, 26 April 22 at 14:00-15:30 to discuss the outcomes of this briefing.

The event will be chaired by John Chapman from the University of Bristol.

John (‘JC’) Chapman spent 30 years in the military as a pilot and information systems specialist before joining Dell Technologies in 2009, staying with them for over 10 years and leaving as the Dell UK Public Sector CISO.  JC has a variety of degrees in maths, theoretical physics, information systems and international defence studies and is also a CISSP.  JC is currently studying for his PhD in cybersecurity with the University of Bristol.
