AIKEMA addresses how machine learning approaches to automated key management within the transport sector (e.g. autonomous vehicles) could help manage network load and intrusion detection. This helps to better understand and mitigate risk, particularly within 5G systems.
Automated key management can reduce costs and human error. It is a fundamental process to ensuring an organisation’s data security.
The project utilises the 5G Innovation Centre with the support of Telefonica to understand the challenges at large. AIKEMA is supported by other PETRAS projects, including TanSec, to consider physical properties to key sharing techniques.
